Dr. Lori J. Fulton, M.D.

Dr. Lori FultonDr. Lori Fulton is an obstetrician and gynecologist certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  In addition to routine healthy gynecological and obstetric exams, Dr. Fulton actively treats a variety of conditions such as incontinence, heavy or painful periods, symptoms of menopause, and sexually transmitted infections.  Dr. Fulton also provides several in-office minor surgical procedures in order to enhance patient comfort and promote cost-savings for her patients.

One of four children, Lori Fulton grew up in Jackson, Mississippi.  She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women before attending medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Dr. Fulton spent four years in residency training at Tulane and Charity Hospital in New Orleans.  Following her formal training, Dr. Fulton returned to Jackson, Mississippi where she has been in private practice for the past 23 years.

Dr. Fulton’s hospital affiliations include St. Dominic- Jackson Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Central Mississippi Medical Center.  Dr. Fulton is a clinical Associate professor for the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s OB/GYN and Family Medicine departments.

Believing that diversity keeps the mind sharp, Dr. Fulton is active in many local and national professional associations, has performed medical missions work in the jungles of Brazil and is an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Raymond.  Dr. Fulton and her husband, Dr. David Jones, a local counselor and therapist, are at home in Utica, MS.

Laura L. Keys, MSN, NP-C

Laura Keys is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in women’s health care. As a registered nurse, she worked primarily in women’s health care areas including high-risk obstetrics, antepartum and postpartum. Upon obtaining an advanced degree in 2012, Laura began practicing as a nurse practitioner with the University Of Mississippi Medical Center specializing in the management and care of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck cancer. 

Laura is from Richland, Mississippi, where she graduated from Richland High School. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Hinds Community College in 2001 and then completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Delta State University in 2011. Laura received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She joined Fulton Center for Women’s Health in October 2016 with an enthusiasm for health promotion and wellness in women from adolescence through menopause. Her responsibilities include patient appointments, office procedures, following patients in the hospital setting and coordinating patient care and referrals. She is passionate in ensuring sensitive, individualized care of each patient and advocates the patient’s own understanding of their personal health through education, counseling and awareness.

Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, son, close-knit family along with her  many dogs, ducks and horses.
