Dr. Lori J. Fulton, M.D.

Dr. Lori FultonDr. Lori Fulton is an obstetrician and gynecologist certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  In addition to routine healthy gynecological and obstetric exams, Dr. Fulton actively treats a variety of conditions such as incontinence, heavy or painful periods, symptoms of menopause, and sexually transmitted infections.  Dr. Fulton also provides several in-office minor surgical procedures in order to enhance patient comfort and promote cost-savings for her patients.

One of four children, Lori Fulton grew up in Jackson, Mississippi.  She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women before attending medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Dr. Fulton spent four years in residency training at Tulane and Charity Hospital in New Orleans.  Following her formal training, Dr. Fulton returned to Jackson, Mississippi where she has been in private practice for the past 23 years.

Dr. Fulton’s hospital affiliations include St. Dominic- Jackson Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Central Mississippi Medical Center.  Dr. Fulton is a clinical Associate professor for the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s OB/GYN and Family Medicine departments.

Believing that diversity keeps the mind sharp, Dr. Fulton is active in many local and national professional associations, has performed medical missions work in the jungles of Brazil and is an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Raymond.  Dr. Fulton and her husband, Dr. David Jones, a local counselor and therapist, are at home in Utica, MS.


Dr. C. James Lewis, M.D.

Dr. C. James LewisDr. C. James Lewis, M.D. is a board certified obstetrics and gynecological surgeon. After spending many treasured years delivering babies,

Dr. Lewis now limits his practice to office and surgical gynecology.

A graduate of Millsaps College, Dr. Lewis received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine. Following an internship, he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency and GYN tumor fellowship at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Dr. Lewis practiced at the Clinic for Women from 1969 to 2007 before joining Dr. Lori Fulton in 2010. Dr Lewis’ hospital affiliations include St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital and Central Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr Lewis hails from Meridian; however, he and his wife, Laura, now consider Terry, Mississippi home.


 Shari Jones, NP-C

Shari JonesShari Jones is a Family Nurse prepared Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Nursing School originally in 1986 as an RN. She worked primarily in Women’s Health areas, Labor and Delivery, Antepartum/Postpartum, and Level I and II Nursery as well as a short time in the Intensive Care Unit as she finished her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing.

Shari has come to Jackson, Mississippi by the way of Tennessee, where she graduated from High School and worked her way through Nursing Schools starting at a Community College and finishing at Vanderbilt with a Master’s in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner in 1995.She also completed her Surgery First Assistant Certificate in February 2012.

Since receiving her Master’s, Shari has worked in a variety of settings from Hospital Management to Urgent/ Primary Care and Women’s Health. Shari has been a speaker for PEARLS, a Company that offers continuing education and certification review.

She prefers Women’s Health as “women are the strength and backbone of all cultures, although the men don’t realize it. We are an amazing group of complex, multi-talented group of people who can achieve whatever they choose to do”.

Shari joined Dr. Fulton’s office Staff in September 2009. Her responsibilities include: Patient appointments, office procedures, Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room, seeing patients in the Hospital and coordinating necessary paperwork for patient care and referrals.

Shari enjoys her off-time with her husband and her family in Tennessee.


Meghan Gray, NP-C

MeghanMeghan Gray is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in women’s health care.  Meghan provides routine and episodic gynecologic care as well as obstetric care of pregnant and postpartum women.  She truly loves getting to know her patients as individuals and feels this strengthens the quality of their care.

Meghan is originally from Brandon, Mississippi, where she graduated from Northwest Rankin High School.  She earned bachelor degrees from the University of Tennessee and Alcorn State University, followed by seven years of experience working as a registered nurse in surgery and labor and delivery at UMMC, St Dominic hospital, and Surgicare of Jackson.  In 2012, Meghan completed her MSN from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  Meghan, her husband, Josh, and their two children currently live in Madison, MS.
